Bhutan – The Dragon Kingdom (from $2565)
The secluded kingdom of Bhutan is a remarkable country, with a vibrant yet beautifully preserved orthodox culture, a land full of grandeur and peace and unparalleled views of the Himalayan peaks. Our journey starts in Paro, and takes us to the capital Thiumpu, the ancient capital Punakha, and on to Gangtey, Trongsa, Bumthang, Ura and Wangdue. We will visit and explore monasteries, ancient fortresses (dzongs), temples, and traditional Bhutanese houses, with time to wander through the fascinating markets. We also drive through picturesque landscapes of spectacular mountain ranges, lush green valleys and pine and cedar forests. We cross the Dochola Pass, which offers panoramic views of the Himalayas, and also the Black Mountains, which divide east and west Bhutan. Returning to Paro, we will visit the beautiful Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), found high above the valley floor, clinging precariously to the rock cliff.
Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru (from $1725)
The great highlight of this trip is visiting the Masai Mara, home to the greatest concentration and diversity of wildlife in Kenya. Explore central Kenya and the Great Rift Valley and enjoy a night on the shores of Lake Naivasha. Visit Elsamere, home to the late Joy and George Adamson, and learn the history of wildlife conservation, much of which began in Kenya. Our final highlight is Lake Nakuru National Park, home to up to 4 million flamingos. An awe inspiring sea of pink can be seen at most times of year. It is also renowned for leopards, pythons and both black and white rhino. A fantastic way to end this brief introduction to East Africa.

Temples of Angkor (from $525)
Our Temples of Angkor Tour explores the fabled city of Angkor, the eighth wonder of the world! The hidden city was the ancient capital of the Khmer Dynasty. There are over one hundred temples, many shrouded in great mystery. Our tour includes the Rolous group of temples – Preah Ko, Lo Lei, and the largest, Bakong with its active Buddhist monastery. We visit Phnom Bakheng, a five–tiered temple mountain for spectacular sunset views over Angkor Wat, and the exquisite Banteay Srey which exhibits some of the finest stone carving in the world. Angkor Wat is probably the most breathtaking of the monuments, and we return there again for the beautiful sunrise. We visit the fortified city of Angkor Thom, the Great City; and Ta Prohm, the most atmospheric ruin, buried in the jungle, its towers and walls covered in vast tree roots! Our time in Siem Reap ends with a boat trip on the Tonle Sap Lake, Asia’s largest inland lake, with its fascinating floating villages.
